Set within a grand ballroom in the restored original Reserve Bank of Australia building in the heart of Chippendale, Kyiv Social is a warm and welcoming space for up to 110 guests, designed for gathering over soulful flavours and heartfelt hospitality.
With soaring ceilings, elegant details and a lively atmosphere, the venue is ideal for long lunches, cocktail receptions, corporate gatherings and milestone celebrations.
Kyiv Social welcomes group bookings and private events across daytime and evening periods, with exclusive daytime access available for larger groups on request.

By celebrating at a Plate It Forward venue, your event continues beyond the day itself, as the team hosting you and your guests includes Ukrainian humanitarian visa holders and others who have faced barriers to employment.
Kyiv Social is proudly staffed almost exclusively by Ukrainian refugees, who bring their culture, stories and traditions to every service.

Kyiv Social welcomes private events seven days a week, subject to availability, with bookings from 10:00 AM through to midnight.

FAQs
You and your vendors will receive 60 minutes of complimentary bump-in before your event and 60 minutes of complimentary bump-out afterwards.
Yes. Please provide all dietary requirements and allergies at least 2 weeks prior to your event so our team can plan accordingly.
Yes. High chairs are available upon request.
We do not have on-site parking. You may use complimentary parking for several hours at Broadway Shopping Centre or nearby street parking, subject to availability.
Yes. You are welcome to organise your own decorations and table styling within the allocated bump-in period.
A 20% non-refundable and non-transferable deposit is required to secure your event date.
A 10% service charge applies to event bookings.
All cancellations must be submitted in writing. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
